Whilst at Pompeu Fabra University, studying a five-year degree in Computer Engineering, I worked for a web services company learning PHP. After seven years of web development, I switched to Android in 2012 and spent the next two years learning as much about the technology as I could. In 2014, I started freelancing. I soon met Lee and the team and I instantly fell in love with their vision and the way that they worked together. Mobile First are now a long-standing client of mine.
I’m self-taught and I’m always learning. My last achievement, for example, was receiving the Associate Android Developer certification from Google.
We all get along, so much so that we feel like a family, and that helps to motivate us in the office on a daily basis. The fact that we are an international team (with team members from the UK, the US, and Spain) is also a plus.
I like that we face each project together and we work hard to adopt the best practices during the development process. The flexible working hours are great, too.
Barcelona is the most beautiful city in the world! Whilst it’s a big city, it still feels small in size as you can walk to nearly every destination. It’s also incredibly diverse, from the bustling centre of the city that caters for your every need, to the two mountains that surround it and, of course, the beach.
I like that you can enjoy a leisurely walk through nature on a sunny day before heading out for some beers and good tapas in the evening.
I love playing video games and watching TV shows; I game for at least 20 minutes and watch an episode, or more, of TV a day!
I also love travelling, tattoos, and heavy metal music.
